Main Product Applications

Portland CEM I 52,5R Cement is an extraordinarily high performance product. It is used in the manufacture of very high strength, reinforced or pre-stressed concrete, and in situations where high strengths are required within 1 or 2 days of application. This product is best suited for:

• Ready-mixed or cast in-situ for high and very high initial or final resistance concrete
• Pre-stressed concrete at very early ages
• Concrete cast in cold weather
• Heavyweight prefabrication with high turnover of moulds

Portland CEM II/A-L 42,5R Limestone Cement is a highly versatile product, combining excellent workability and high strengths, both characteristics that enable it to be used in concrete of different strength classes and lightweight or heavyweight prefabrication. Here are some of its most common applications:

• Ready-mixed or cast in-situ for medium to high resistance concrete
• Prestressed concrete at current ages
• Shotcrete, lightweight concrete and blinding concrete
• Heavyweight standard turnover prefabrication or lightweight high turnover prefabrication
• Reinforcement and repair of structural concrete
